REVBOX / Help & information

Get your sound on the road.

From your first sound to your car speakers. Find setup steps, purchase help and answers to common questions.

Set your sound before you drive

  1. Start with a parked preview

Open Simulation mode, choose a sound, and use the on-screen gas and brake pedals. The free app includes three engine sounds; Pro opens the full library.

  2. Connect audio. Mount your phone.

Use the phone speaker or your car stereo. Choose a compatible wired connection for less audio delay. Keep your iPhone in a fixed mount rather than moving it during your drive.

  3. Start Drive mode

With Pro, allow location and motion access, then start the sound. REVBOX estimates vehicle movement from GPS and motion sensors to drive the virtual engine and gearbox.

Complete setup and connections while parked. Keep your attention on the road. REVBOX is for entertainment, not a vehicle instrument or driver-assistance system.

Choose your audio connection

Wired audio

Where supported, connect CarPlay over USB or use a compatible AUX cable and adapter. Select that audio source on your stereo and check its volume. Wired connections usually have less delay than car Bluetooth.

Bluetooth audio

Connect to your car in iPhone Settings, then select Bluetooth audio on the stereo. The REVBOX dashboard shows the audio connection status. Some cars buffer audio by one to three seconds; a wired route is usually a better fit for sound that follows your drive.

Phone speaker

Use it to preview and set up sounds. If you cannot hear anything, check your iPhone media volume and current audio output to make sure playback is not routed to other headphones or speakers.

Common questions

Do I need an OBD adapter or special hardware?

No. REVBOX uses your iPhone’s GPS and motion sensors to estimate speed and acceleration. It does not read your vehicle’s accelerator pedal or connect to its control systems. Use the phone speaker or a compatible car audio connection.

Why does Bluetooth sound lag behind my driving?

Some car stereos buffer Bluetooth audio by one to three seconds. The delay depends on the car and audio connection. A wired audio route, such as CarPlay over USB or a compatible AUX connection, usually has less delay. REVBOX cannot remove buffering inside your car stereo.

Does REVBOX have a native CarPlay interface?

The CarPlay connection mentioned here is a way to play iPhone audio through your car over USB. REVBOX does not promise a dedicated interface on your car’s display.

Why is Drive mode not reacting to movement?

Drive mode requires REVBOX Pro and permission to use location and motion data. In iPhone Settings, check Privacy & Security → Location Services and Motion & Fitness for REVBOX. Keep the phone in a fixed mount and allow time for GPS reception outdoors. GPS quality, tunnels and phone movement can affect the response.

What is included for free and with Pro?

The free app includes Simulation mode and three engine sounds. REVBOX Pro unlocks Drive mode and the full library of 50 engine packs. Monthly, annual and one-time lifetime plans are offered; the prices and plans shown in your App Store region apply.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Sign in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Open the Pro page in REVBOX and choose Restore purchases. If access is still missing, check your Apple subscription or purchase history and contact support. Do not send your password or payment card details.

How do I cancel a subscription or request a refund?

Manage or cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Where are my routes and driving data stored?

GPS and motion data are processed on your device. Trips, routes and driving statistics are stored on your device, and you can delete trips in the app. The app may send anonymous technical diagnostic events without location, routes or trip data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Still need a hand?

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, REVBOX version, audio connection and what you were doing when the issue occurred. For purchase questions, mention your plan, but never send account passwords or full payment details.
