Privacy, explained.
REVBOX plays simulated engine sound that responds to how you drive. Here is what the app processes, what stays on your device and how this website handles requests.
1. No account
REVBOX has no sign-up and no user accounts. We do not know who you are through an app account.
2. Data that stays on your device
- Location and speed. With your permission, the app reads GPS speed to drive the engine sound. It is processed on the device in real time and is not sent to us.
- Motion data. Accelerometer readings are used to estimate throttle. They are processed on the device and are not sent to us.
- Trips. If you drive with the sound on, distance, route and driving statistics are saved on your device only. You can delete any trip in the app, and deleting the app removes them all.
3. Technical diagnostics
The app may send anonymous, technical diagnostic events to our servers, such as whether a screen was shown or a purchase flow completed. These events contain no location, no routes, no trip data, and nothing that identifies you or your device owner.
4. Purchases
REVBOX Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app only learns whether Pro is active.
5. What the app never collects
- Your identity, contacts, photos, microphone or camera
- Your location history or routes
- Your payment details
6. Bluetooth and audio
The app reads which audio output is active, such as a car stereo or headphones, only to route the sound and show connection status. This information stays on the device.
7. Children
REVBOX is a driving companion and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. This website
When you visit revbox.cloud, the hosting server processes standard request metadata, such as your IP address, request time and requested page, to deliver, operate and secure the website. This is separate from the on-device driving data described above.
This website does not add marketing trackers, user accounts or signup forms. App Store links take you to Apple’s services, which are subject to Apple’s privacy practices. If you email support, we receive the message and contact information you choose to send.
9. Changes
If the app privacy policy changes materially, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
